Carlos Manriquez brings high-level playing experience and a strong player-development focus to Highland Park Soccer Academy. A former NCAA Division I, NPSL, and USL League One player, Carlos has competed at the academy, collegiate, and professional levels, giving him a deep understanding of the game.
At HPSA, Carlos works with multiple teams, including the 2015 and 2014 girls teams and the 2018 and 2019 boys teams. He is known for developing technically strong, confident players while building a competitive and positive team environment.
Carlos emphasizes ball mastery, tactical awareness, and decision-making, helping players understand the game beyond just execution. His coaching blends discipline, energy, and clear instruction, with a focus on long-term player growth.
As a player, Carlos was a National Champion and All-American at Richland College, an NPSL National Champion with Denton Diablos, and developed through the FC Dallas Academy system. He also competed professionally in Spain, further shaping his tactical perspective and versatility on the field.
