Facilities and Scheduling Overview

Annual Practice Schedule Explained

Highland Park Soccer Academy operates within two primary facility partnerships:
City of University Park and Highland Park ISD (HPISD).

Because we do not own fields, all practice locations and time slots are dependent on seasonal agreements and allocations.

Highland Park ISD (HPISD)

HPSA maintains an ongoing facilities agreement with HPISD. These facilities are primarily used for U10 and older teams (Pre-Select and Select levels).

City of University Park (UP)

Field access through the City of UP is determined through a seasonal request and allocation process. Availability varies due to:

• City programming
• Maintenance schedules
• Weather restrictions
• Lottery-based field assignments

Outdoor access is limited during winter months, which requires Academy-aged teams (2019–2016) to train indoors.

As outdoor fields reopen in spring, practice times are adjusted based on the blocks awarded to HPSA.

Practice times may shift between winter and spring seasons. While we aim for consistency, scheduling is ultimately dependent on the facilities made available to the club.

We appreciate families’ flexibility as we operate within these agreements.

HPSA practices follow a regular schedule that resembles the following table.  However, final schedules vary based on coach and field availability.  Always refer to your team’s current schedule for specific practice dates, times and locations.
